Unlike many other Guar Gum producers who get their Guar Gum samples tested for microbiological parameters at external labs, we have an in-house, operational microbiology lab to test for the following:
- Standard Plate Count
- Yeast
- Moulds
- E. Coli
- Coliform
- Salmonella
QA / QC personnel
The Head of our QA function is an Engineer and a BVQI certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2008.
Our chemists are well qualified, with an average tenure of 11 years at our labs.
Lab processes and controls
- Testing equipment is calibrated once a year externally
- Viscometers are internally checked every morning against standard viscosity fluids supplied by Fann and Brookfield
- We routinely participate in ring tests with customer laboratories
- Post-shipment samples are retained for 2 years from date of production
